Mission: The mission of the Marketing Director is to help grow FluroSat’s revenue 3X by 

  1. Positioning FluroSat as a market leader and trusted partner in agronomy and sustainability analytics, 
  2. Increasing market penetration through channel partners (co-sell and sell-through) and
  3. Attracting new customers by increasing the awareness of FluroSat’s solutions on the market.

What you can expect to contribute to and/or be responsible for:

Define a winning marketing strategy

  • Define winning strategy and guide execution of the plan
  • Constantly measure, analyze, and refine programs and strategies
  • Define processes as necessary; right-size to stages
  • Effectively communicate strategy, goals, and vision to company and team.

Product Marketing

  • Curate and fine-tune product/company positioning
  • Create consistent messaging
  • Direct product launches
  • Manage press relations

Partner Ecosystem / Sales Enablement:

  • Resource and build appropriate salestools and processes to establish channel revenue engine
  • Training
  • Partner management

Build Brand & Company Awareness

  • Develop and/or enable evangelist communities
  • Marketing communications/PR
  • Social
  • Define a winning brand, visual identity, brand attributes, and brand management

Generate demand/leads that helps sales meet revenue expectations:

  • Create effective funnel programs and activities that enable effective sales, cost-effectively
  • Define and resource acquisition and nurture content strategy
  • Define and resource digital / paid strategy
  • Define website requirements and ensure successful SEO
  • Define role and resources for (online) events
  • Direct execution of all programs: webinars, email

Teamwork and collaboration:

  • Work effectively with sales to get messaging and programming right.
  • Work with the product manager to ensure marketing leverages product and product efforts are marketable.
  • Personally represent and live culture values

Success in your role will be measured by the following metrics:

  1. Growing revenue 3X+ from existing customers through co-marketing
  2. Landing 3+ new big logos from each of the 3 channel partners in 2021
  3. Generating leads to fill in the pipeline from CropLife100 and top CPGs
  4. Establishing FluroSat as a go-to player in scalable agronomy and sustainability product space reflected in the number of SQLs

Key Qualifications Required for the Role:

  • 4+ years in B2B marketing, preferable in the enterprise SaaS space, experience in ag/ agtech would be outstanding!
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage dozens of moving pieces across multiple projects and teams simultaneously
  • Experience operating in highly ambiguous and rapidly changing environments
  • Ability to create clear and compelling messages as well as a willingness to roll up sleeves to create externally-facing assets or internal deliverables
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to educate and inspire small groups and conference audiences
  • Some experience in customer-facing role preferred but not required
